Early 16thC German Bastard sword A479

The sword is based very accurately on A479 from the Wallace Collection, which I measured and handled personally for the project.

The sword is very distinctive and is probably a 19thC composite, but of a early 16thC German style and features a very heavily hollow ground blade.

There is no doubt this is a chunky long or bastard sword, but because of the relatively short blade. It feels surprisingly mobile in the hand.
