Rugger with horn grips - SOLD

Ruggers were a typically German working and fighting knife from the late 15th and early to mid 16thC and featured strong single edged and rather pointy blades.

Horn grip panels with hollow rivets and steel fittings with a nagel formed like a shell and the spine has filework and a copper inlaid makers mark.

Comes with a green double layer veg tan sheath with simple incised decoration and finished with a bronze chape.
