Typically styled English 16thC steel knife. These types of knives were short lived early to mid 16thC and are constructed from a single piece of steel and I particularly associate them with London as many have been pulled out of the Thames. Though trade links suggest anywhere the Western coast of Europe they would also be found.
Handle has some simple file work and a knob shaped finial. Copper inlaid maker’s mark. Comes with an accompanying all steel pricker in a naturally tanned moulded double layer leather sheath in blue.
