Based closely on an excavated sword held in the British Museum and recovered from a 6/7thC graveyard in Buckland, near Dover.
The original sword had a pattern welded blade with gilded silver hilt fittings. The reproduction has all the hilt components made separately and assembled as they should be.
The sword can be supplied with a pattern welded blade from Owen Bush and the hilt components can be either polished bronze or gold plated.
