12thC-14thC Century Whittle Tang Dagger (red) IN STOCK

Whittle daggers are as simple as a fighting and working knife can be and suitable for peasants over a long period of time.  Based on the work of Logan Thompson.

Oiled box wood grip with a through tang turned and stapled into the pommel, single edged blade, short enough for work and long enough for defence.  Double layer naturally tanned sheath with a little incised and stamped decoration and finished with a latten (brass) crimped chape.
