Museum of London rondel dagger

15thC Museum of London (MOL) rondel dagger. Typically English and lowlands Medieval rondel dagger with large hollow rivets;  pretty but built like a tank none the less and a lovely piece.

It has a very stout, single-edged, hollow ground blade.  Hollow, hexagonal, fabricated rondels. A slab tang with filework edges, horn grip scales and 3 very large bronze, tubular rivets.

Red vegtan leather formed sheath finished with a bronze chape.

Overall length: 43cm/17"
