Castillon Dagger

This substantial Castillon medieval dagger is based on an excavated knife from the battle site – mid 15thC.  The dagger is long, with a substantial guard, but the notable feature is the extreme blade at 15mm thick at the hilt.  

This is part dagger, part sword and the rest is club.  A big piece in all respects.  French or English.

Double edged with 45cm blade and comes with a leather sheath and bronze chape.
