14thC Quillon Dagger - SOLD

This medieval quillon dagger is based on numerous examples and with the slightly downturned guard and the wheel pommel it is typical of daggers of the 14th Century.  Daggers similar to this were common for knights and men at arms 

The dagger features steel handle fittings, a cord bound leather grip over a spiral binding and comes with a naturally tanned double layer leather sheath with incised decoration and finished with a bronze chape.  Blade is double edged diamond with a central fuller.

Double edged with 30cm blade and comes with a leather sheath and bronze chape.

Overall length 37cm/14.5"
