Medieval war hammer or bec de corbin based on a piece in the Doges ' Palace in Venice and captured after a battle in the late 14thC. This version has a longer haft than I usually fit making this a formidable two handed version - every knight should have one!
The head is cast in bronze and depicts a dragon and the tail and 'fire' are made in carbon steel and socketed and brazed into place. The haft is in ash and linseed oiled.
