This magnificent dagger is based on a piece in a North Italian painting from the 15thC and features a long, slim and powerful hollow ground blade fitted into a grip fashioned from horn and bone plates set into a bronze framework.
The double layer vegtan leather sheath is fitted with a bronze chape and cupped sheath mouth.
