Dragon Medieval war hammer Bec de Corbin

Medieval war hammer or bec de corbin based on a piece in the Doges' Palace in Venice and captured after a battle in the late 14thC.
The head is cast in bronze and depicts a dragon and the tail and 'fire' are made in carbon steel and socketed and brazed into place. The haft is in ash and stained black and waxed.
