This crossbow is typical of many medieval 15thC munition quality war crossbows so it is plain and rather block like. Bow irons came in around 1400 though lashing was also still used, and this crossbow is made with irons.
This 170lb medieval crossbow can be spanned by hand so does not need a goats foot lever (we can make one for this if required but please email via the commission form on the website this would also mean the bow could not be sent out straight away, please note once it has been sent we cannot make a goatsfoot lever to fit) it comes with 3 bolts (ash shafts, modern head, feather fletched)
Crossbow available is the same as this but string is brown.
