14-15thC Dainty Eating Knife

A dainty but still robust horn handled eating knife typical particularly of the 14thC but also 15thC. Long decorative brass bolsters, brass pins, horn scales and filework to the spine and a copper inlaid maker’s mark. Comes with a naturally tanned double layer sheath in green with incised decoration front and back on hemp cords.

Overall length 16.5cm/6.5 inches
