This medieval quillon dagger was based on an the original which is shown in the Royal Armouries collection. It is a very unusual piece and I think unique which of course makes it hard to date exactly
It is English and around 1400, but otherwise an unknown type. The blade has a series of cut outs on the false edge, for no apparent reason. The guard and pommel are bronze, engraved with a spiders web motif. The grip is cord bound leather and the dagger comes complete with a double layer green veg tan sheath with some incised decoration front and rear and finished with a bronze chape.
Note the grip is meant to include the pommel so how grip length appears short.
30cm/12" blade
42cm/16.5" overall
8cm/3.25"grip
