Late 14th to early 15thC Middle class bollock dagger. Has a strong, single-sided, slightly bevelled false edge. Ribbed, thornwood handle, finished with an engraved bronze cap and mounted in a double layer vegan leather sheath with incised decoration.
this dagger may seem small in size but is actually very characteristic of small handy daggers that were perfect for self defence and were often seen mounted with or through the belt pouch.
