This 14thC medieval rondel dagger is based on a river find from the Thames and is now held in a private collection . This comes from the early days of the rondel when the front disc had arrived, but a pommel still formed the end of the grip rather than another disc rondel as came later.
Bronze fittings throughout with an octagonal yew grip and disc spacer.
Single edged hollow ground blade with 25cm blade and comes with a naturally tanned green leather sheath and bronze chape.
