This medieval crossbow is typical of many 14thC munition quality war crossbows so it is plain and rather blocky. Bow irons came in around 1400, so this crossbow comes with a lashed bow and the characteristically long and straight trigger bar from the period.
Ash stock, linen string in brown, steel nut and trigger, trigger spring.
This medieval crossbow has a draw weight of 350lbs and so is spanned using the goats foot lever supplied with it. Comes with 3 bolts.
