A medieval sword scabbard for an Albion Cluny sword.
The scabbard is made in poplar and covered in veg tan leather with incised decoration, to copy the work shown in Durer wood cuts of early Landsknecht soldiers.
The scabbard has been made to be slim so the rain guard of the sword fits snugly over the top. The scabbard is finished with a steel chape and is hung from a period appropriate suspension with bronze fittings.
Both scabbard and belt are in black.
