Mid 13thC 350lbs faux composite crossbow SOLD

A faux composite crossbow using a steel bow clad and painted to look like a composite.  The bow is based loosely on a, image from the siege of Lincoln fair 1217.

The crossbow is 350lbs in weight and has an ash stock with horn cheeks and a reinforced antler nut.  The binding and nut cords are in hemp, the string is linen and the typically long trigger is sprung loaded.  The crossbow comes with 3 feathered bolts and a goats foot lever as standard.
