A simple mid 15thC French styled medieval bollock dagger with twisted grip.
The grip has a very characteristic top half barley twist, which is typically French and is carved in box wood. The blade has a through tang and is riveted on the top over a bronze decorative washer.
Sheath is double layer red veg tan leather with stamped and incised decoration and a bronze chape.
