A late medieval/ early Renaissance German eating knife from around 1500 with a clipped point blade.
The blade has a scale tang that is inserted into the bronze Bauernwehr style handle and riveted in place.
Blade has a copper inlaid makers mark and double layer veg tan sheath with hemp suspension cord and incised decoration.
