Unexpectedly available. This 17thC Bronze Handled Dirk or Bronze Gripped Dirk. Late 17thC early 18thC with strong single edged blade with fuller. The blade bears the inscription 'Air Muir's Tir' on both sides. This is understood to mean 'on land and sea' in Gaelic.
Brown leather decorated sheath with bronze chape.
Please note the short grip length is in line with originals.
