15-16thC Holbein baselard. A classic Swiss German (Holbein style) baselard. Characterised by the inward bent top and bottom guards and the waisted, boxwood grip. Everything about this dagger is robust from he steel fittings from the tough boxwood and the thick and broad double-sided blade.
