14/15thC antler handled eating knife 102

A medium status medieval eating knife with brass bolsters and red deer antler grip scales. 

The knife spine has some file work and the sheath is suspended from a hemp thong.

Sheath is made from two layers of veg tan leather, dyed black with simple incised and stamped decoration.

Grip length 70mm/2.75"
