13thC Medieval cleaver or kitchen knife with a distinctive clipped point and engraved eye. This sort of decorative feature was common on knives of this period. The scale tang handle makes this a very tough knife. The spine is finished with some firework and the laburnum handle is held in place with some brass and copper rivets.
