13th and 14thC style Quillon dagger with steel wheel pommel and IHS simplistically engraved on one face and a cross and punch work motif on the other. Cord bound leather grip with heavy risers. The grip measures 7.5cm or 3 inches. Do not think this makes it small and uncomfortable, as the heel of your hand rises on to the pommel which was so often the case and why the grips on museum daggers often look unreasonably small. They are not.
Stout double edged diamond section blade housed in a double layer veg tan sheath with punched decoration and a bronze chape.
Overall length 36cm/14 inches
Grip length 7.5cm/3 inches
Blade length 25cm/9.75inches
