13th/14thC dot and circle eating knife

A simple early medieval eating knife based on multiple pieces from Knives and Scabbards (MOL book).

The sheath is made from double layer leather and is finished with a tab and red hemp binding.

The grip is of whittle tang construction and made from box wood with a dot and circle motif.

Overall length 21cm/8.5"

Blade length 11.5cm/4.5"

Grip length 95mm/3.75"
