This Renaissance sword breaker is a very curious weapon and although it looks fantasy you see many of them in collections across Europe. They would be better termed 'sword catchers' in that you use them in the left hand in conjunction with a rapier and as you parry your opponents blow you can trap the blade in the teeth, allowing you to control your opponents sword.
Dagger comes complete with wood-cored scabbard complete with handmade steel fittings.
