This medieval crossbow is typical of many 14thC munition quality war crossbows so it is plain and rather blocky. Bow irons came in around 1400, so this medieval crossbow has the bow lashed in place.
This medieval crossbow comes with a goats foot lever which is required to span it as it is too heavy to span by hand.
