Long French 14thC quillon dagger

This is a curious medieval Quillon Dagger because the pommel is large but thin, so not massively heavy, but still substantial enough to require the long blade to make it work - one of those daggers which makes you wonder if it is, in fact, a short sword.

Double edged with 40cm blade and comes with a leather sheath and bronze chape.

Grip length – 115mm
Blade length – 40cm
Overall length – 58cm
Blade thickness at hilt – 8mm
Handle components – Steel
