Baselard Dagger with caged scabbard - SOLD *

This style of Swiss German Baselard or Dagen is pretty normal for the 14th and 15thC, but the sheath is less common. This sort of ‘caged’ sheath only ever seems to be found on this style of Baselard and even then was rare. No discernible purpose, but it looks pretty as heck.
