This medieval rondel dagger is based on a museum example from around 1400 and probably French. The hilt is made from 3 bronze elements and fitted to a very strong and long double edged blade. Suitable for a knight or man at arms.
The double layer veg tan sheath has some incised decoration and is finished in black with a bronze chape.
