A classic 15thC jousting shield made to a proven size and shape.
The shield is faced inside and out with linen covered in gesso and painted lime white. The straps are red veg tan leather and the buckles are hand forged steel. The whole rear is fitted with a linen canvas pad.
The shield is made from a laminated carrier and the front is fitted with a softer layer to allow the lance to bite.
